The program is intended for the co-financing of postdoctoral studies or research at the European University Institute (EUI).

Applicant

An individual accepted for postdoctoral studies at EUI.

Amount of Co-financing

Funding is provided for living and travel expenses in the amount determined annually by EUI at the time of the call for applications.

Duration of Scholarship

1 year.

Obligations

Completion of postdoctoral research training.

Specifics

The admission procedure for postdoctoral studies or research at EUI and the procedure for obtaining funds from the Fund for postdoctoral studies or research are two separate processes, namely:

• for admission to postdoctoral studies or research at EUI, candidates apply within the deadlines and in the manner determined by EUI. Information on deadlines and the application procedure for admission is available here;

• candidates apply within the deadlines and in the manner specified in the Fund’s public call for applications.

The amount of funding, conditions, criteria, and selection criteria are determined by the public call for applications, which also specifies the application deadline and the documentation required from the applicant.
