Fulbright Program
The Fulbright Program is intended for Slovenian doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers for hosting in the USA, as well as for US citizens for hosting in Slovenia. Candidates are selected through a selection process by the Fulbright Commission and final confirmation by the competent authority in the USA.
Applicant
Slovenian citizens may obtain funding for hosting at an American institution in the USA in the form of:

funding equal to the cost of the most economical return airfare and a monthly scholarship from the Fund in the amount determined by the competent authority in the USA, if this authority does not cover the scholarship, or
-
funding provided by the competent authority in the USA for living expenses, accommodation, study materials, and tuition fees.
US citizens may obtain funding for hosting at a Slovenian institution in Slovenia in the form of:

a monthly scholarship from the Fund for living expenses and funding equal to the cost of mandatory health insurance in the Republic of Slovenia for each month of hosting, and
-
a scholarship from the competent authority in the USA for living expenses, accommodation, study materials, and tuition fees.
Scholarship Amount
The scholarship amount, conditions, criteria, application deadline, and required documentation are determined by the public call for applications.
Duration of Scholarship
For the duration of the hosting period.
Obligations
Funds must be used for their intended purpose, and the grantee must submit a substantive report on the hosting.
