Study or Research Visit of Students Abroad

The purpose of the scholarship is to promote research collaboration between students enrolled at Slovenian higher education institutions and educational or research organizations abroad where Slovenian higher education teachers and researchers are active. Funding is intended for students of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd cycle who are undertaking a study visit abroad lasting from 3 to a maximum of 10 weeks, provided that their home institution recognizes this mobility as part of the study program in the Republic of Slovenia.

Applicant

Students of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd cycle undertaking a study visit abroad.

Amount of Co-financing

Funding is provided to cover the direct costs of the study or research visit, namely:

• accommodation, meals, and other direct expenses during the visit, and

• travel expenses from the place of residence in the Republic of Slovenia to the location of the visit.
  The amount is determined by the public call for applications.

Obligations

The visit must take place under the supervision of Slovenian higher education teachers and researchers working abroad and a final report on the visit must be submitted.
