Up to two scholarships are available for citizens of the Cape Verde Islands to study in the Republic of Slovenia. Candidates need the nomination from home country to be eligible.
The subject matter of this call is scholarships for up to two citizens of the Cape Verde Islands to study in the Republic of Slovenia.
The scholarship will be awarded for:
- Tuition for a one-year study programme of the Slovene language and for undergraduate or homogenours master studies in area of medicin/health studies, and
- Living costs in the amount of EUR 700.00 per month for the duration of the scholarship.
A candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship of the Cape Verde Islands,
- Nomination for this scholarship by the relevant institution of the Cape Verde Islands,
- Will enrol in the undergraduate or homogenous master study programme of medicine/health in the Republic of Slovenia,
- Will have a valid Slovenian temporary residence permit for the purpose of study,
- will not be employed, self-employed or registered as unemployed person in the Republic of Slovenia or abroad during studies.

A candidate must submit an original, fully completed and signed application form, proof of citizenship and residence and confirmation of meeting the conditions for enrolment in Slovenia, issued by the Slovene higher education institution. Full details regarding required documents are available in the call for application.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until two scholarships are awarded, but no later than 31 August 2012.
