Subject of this call for applications are scholarships for foreign citizens, who are studying towards a PhD at Slovene higher education institutions in natural sciences, technology or medicine.

Scholarship covers annual tuition fee in full amount, but maximum 3.000,00 EUR per year, and a stipend of 625,00 EUR per month.

Scholarship will be awarded from the 2008/2009 academic year onward for the duration of the programme.

The application deadline is 22. September 2008.

Application form - application form is bilingual (Slovene and English), you can fill it out with Adobe Acrobat Reader and then print and sign it.
Power of Attorney - all candidates, who live outside Slovenia must give the power of attorney to a person living in Slovenia, which can be done by filling out and signing this form. The form has to be signed by the person, that will represent the student.
Rules on general conditions governing the activities of the Slovene Human Resources Development and Scholarship Fund regulate the scholarship distribution process (Official Gazette no. 33/08, 73/08 - available only in Slovene language).
